Rise is a public interest organization committed to serving the legal needs of women and gender-diverse individuals who would not otherwise have access to counsel. We provide legal services through an integrated legal services model that includes a law school clinic. Rise contributes to addressing barriers to accessing civil justice for individuals of marginalized genders and their children and we have a strong focus of family law, although we may also sometimes help with related matters.

About the Position:

The articling student’s work will focus on files from the Virtual Legal Clinic, as well as conducting some hearings and applications. While the majority of the work will be in the area of family law, there may also be opportunities to work on immigration files.
