Programs supporting family law advocates and support workers in BC
Rise works directly with Law Foundation of BC (LFBC) funded family law advocates and support workers supporting clients navigating family law matters in the province through various programs.
The family advocate support team provides:
two dedicated phone lines answered by lawyers to answer questions family law advocates or support workers have about their clients navigating family law matters in BC
monthly training offerings by the various programs
direct supervision of Law Foundation funded family law advocates by two staff lawyer
The programs providing these services are:
Family Advocate Support Line (open to all workers in BC)
Indigenous Family Advocate Support Line (open to workers supporting Indigenous clients in BC)
Centralized Legal Services (for select LFBC funded family law advocates)
Family Advocate Educator (for all LFBC funded family law advocates)
